Dr Hisham (Sam) Hallani

Dr Hallani is an esteemed interventional Cardiologist and consultant physician, operating at both Nepean public and private hospitals. His areas of interest include complex coronary interventions, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure and arrhythmias. Dr Hallani has been published in many journals and is Director of Cardiology at Nepean Hospital.

Dr Tony G Donald

Dr Tony Donald is an Australian-based health professional. Tony is trained as a Cardiologist (Heart Specialist) and practices in Penrith.

Dr Clyne Fernandes

Dr Clyne Fernandes is an Australian-based health professional. Clyne is trained as a Cardiologist (Heart Specialist) and practices in Kingswood, Penrith and Mount Druitt.

Dr Faraz Pathan

Doctor Faraz Pathan is a cardiologist and cardiovascular imaging specialist. He is currently the head of cardiac imaging and cardiac research in the Cardiology department at Nepean Hospital.

Dr Shanthosh Sivapathan

Dr Shanthosh Sivapathan is a clinical cardiologist with special interest in coronary artery disease and preventive cardiology. He graduated from the University of New South Wales and completed his Cardiology training at Nepean Hospital.

During his training Dr Sivapathan completed a Master of Public Health (UNSW) and Master of Philosophy (USyd), and is currently undertaking a PhD in critical care cardiomyopathy with focus on advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques. He is a current research fellow at Nepean Hospital undertaking further subspecialty training in interventional cardiology. He is passionate about teaching and research and has presented at both local and international conferences.

Dr Juliana Kawanati

Juliana is a cardiac electrophysiologist with a special interest in managing arrhythmias and cardiac devices. She performs catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias including supraventricular tachycardias, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and ventricular tachycardia. She implants and manages cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation devices.  

 

Juliana received her medical degree from the Australian National University and completed her cardiology specialist training at Concord Hospital. She then undertook subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada with a 2-year postgraduate fellowship. Her research interests include novel technologies in the management of cardiac arrhythmias.  Juliana practices at Nepean public and private hospitals, and Sydney Adventist Hospital. 

 

Dr Shabab Pathan

Dr Shahab Pathan is an Australian trained Cardiologist who is currently undertaking a Fellowship at Nepean Hospital in advanced multi modal cardiac imaging including advanced echocardiography, Cardiac CT and MRI.

Dr Pathan completed his Basic Physician and Advanced Cardiology Training at Concord Hospital, Sydney. He is interested in all aspects of Cardiology including preventative health and heart failure. He strongly believes in the importance of delivering patient focused care through open and honest communication and understanding the specific needs for individual patients.
